The "Random Thoughts" of Bob Heath's slightly off-center theological mind captured in various live settings. He says that the goal of this podcast is to encourage listeners to "Think for themselves...in line with God's word." Heath believes there is far to much theory in theology and far to little time spent in God's Word. "If I seem a little too 'random' for you I hope you'll check me out with God's Word". Oh, one more thing: These recordings are usually live to a group of students at a before school Bible Club, so I can promise that the average message will be 7-15 minutes long. (Just enough to provoke thought.)
As founder of Kids for Christ USA Robert(Bob) Heath has planted and facilitated ministry teams to 39 locations in the Tulsa area every week and assisted in a total of 52 nationally in a place once thought closed to the gospel…OUR Public Schools. Since January of 2001 he and his teams have covered their city on a daily basis taking the gospel of peace to a new generation of Kids for Christ. In the past year the vision has expanded into two major California cities, Indianapolis, Concord, North Carolina and Brookfield, MS. He believes that the greatest mission on earth is the Public Elementary and Jr. Schools. In the past five years Kids for Christ USA has seen roughly 9500 children make decisions to serve Jesus with their lives and near 4000 people lead to Jesus by inspired children who are implementing the tools that Kids for Christ USA has taught them.
His passion and vision are very easy to connect with. Heath believes in teaching and living the love of God by word and deed. He and his wife of 20 years Shelly and their three boys (Brayden 14, Boston 11, and Baylor 8) live in Tulsa, OK.
